Overnight Oats…breakfast on the go!

This is a great grab n go breakfast in the morning.  If you are concerned about calories (this version is 284 calories), you can half the amount of oatmeal, almond milk and syrup.  This works well for me because I am an athlete and need the additional calories.  The choices for mix ins are endless.  Anything from blueberries, raspberries, cherries, diced apples, coconut, cinnamon, honey,  lemon zest, almonds, or granola! 

1/2 cup organic oatmeal
1/2 cup organic unsweetened almond milk
1 tablespoon organic chia seeds
1 tablespoon organic maple syrup
1/2 of organic banana, diced
4-5 organic strawberries, diced

Combine the oatmeal, almond milk, chia seeds, and maple syrup in a mason jar. Top with diced bananas and strawberries.  Cover and refrigerate over night.  Breakfast done!
