I love this green smoothie because it does not require any added sweeteners… the fruit adds enough sweetness, which makes it a great smoothie for kids!
1 cup unsweetened organic almond milk
1 cup organic spinach or kale (I used a handful of both)
1/2 cup filtered water
1/2 cup frozen organic pineapple
1 organic celery stalk
1 frozen organic banana
1 organic Fuji apple, chopped
2 organic dates
Blend in a Vitamix or high speed blender until smooth. I usually add a teaspoon of chia seeds (that have been soaked in almond milk or water for 5 minutes), flax seeds and hemp seeds.
